The Colorado Alliance for Microenterprise Initiatives (CAMI)
is a
growing statewide organization now comprising more than 40 microenterprise
practitioners. Its mission is "to create a sustainable network of microenterprise resources,
to assist microentrepreneurs, and our communities, to support self-sufficiency, alleviate
poverty, and create jobs through business development in Colorado."
What Is Microenterprise?
As defined in Colorado’s Microenterprise Development Act, a micro-enterprise is an
establishment with fewer than 5 employees that generally lacks access to conventional
loans, equity, or other banking services.

CAMI and MDAC Release Report, Host Breakfast at State Capitol
CAMI and the Microenterprise Development Advisory Council (MDAC) hosted Breakfast
at the Capitol on January 23rd to mark the
2nd Annual MDAC Report.
CAMI board members and staff
handed out breakfast burritos and the report to state legislators.
